HR Tech Europe Launches Pitchfest 2026 – Spotlighting the Next Generation of HR Technology
Amsterdam, 22–23 April 2026 – RAI Amsterdam
HR Tech Europe has officially launched Pitchfest 2026, a new platform dedicated to showcasing emerging HR technology companies shaping the future of work across Europe and beyond.
Making its debut at HR Tech Europe 2026, Pitchfest will allow select startups to present their solutions live on stage in front of industry leaders, investors and senior HR decision-makers. Participating companies will compete for up to €20,000 in cash and prizes.
Designed to spotlight early-stage innovation, Pitchfest provides founders with structured exposure and meaningful feedback from a highly experienced judging panel.
During the preliminary rounds, companies will have three minutes to present their solution, followed by two minutes of questions from the judges. . Finalists from each round will advance to the final, where they will deliver a five-minute presentation followed by a live Q&A session.
The judging panel includes Johannes Sundlo (Prorio AI), Shlomit Gruman-Navot (BetterUp), Thomas Otter (Acadian Ventures) and Jason Averbook (Mercer). The panel has been selected for its breadth of experience across HR technology, investment and advisory, ensuring thoughtful and balanced evaluation.
Jason Averbook commented:
“We’ll be looking for the startups that understand a fundamental truth: technology doesn’t transform anything. People do. The best HR tech doesn’t just automate tasks, it unlocks human potential by removing friction from the moments that matter most.”
Shlomit Gruman added:
“If something feels broken, could be better, or sparks a genuine ‘what if’, this is exactly the kind of thinking we want to encourage. Pitchfest gives founders the opportunity to share ideas, gain meaningful feedback and receive support to help turn them into real solutions. I’m proud to support this initiative alongside an outstanding group of judges.”
Applications are open and free to enter. The deadline for submissions is 13 March 2026. Selected finalists will pitch live at HR Tech Europe, taking place 22–23 April 2026 at RAI Amsterdam.
